Fightback charity provides a range of practical, social and educational services and activities to the most disadvantage and vulnerable members of society, including advice, information, form filling, advocacy, mediation, representation with a variety of other agencies, CV writing and job searches, to help increase access, knowledge, confidence and promote autonomy. Fightback also provides weekly, coffee mornings, a befriending service, drop-in service and a chat club where people can come together, access support, help, meet people, share experiences and enjoy a range of free refreshments, These are all designed to reduce social isolation, promote mental health wellbeing, social inclusion and community cohesion
Our independent food bank offers essential weekly food parcels to anyone in need, ensuring that individuals and families have access to nutritious food during difficult times.
We also provide essential hygiene products to help increase people’s self-esteem and well-being. Access to these essentials not only promotes physical health but also fosters confidence and dignity, allowing individuals to engage more comfortably in social, educational, and work settings.
